Что (кто) такое automobile mechanics - определение

RELEVANT TO FIXED WING AND ROTARY WING AIRCRAFT
Flight mechanics; Airplane flight mechanics

Analytical mechanics
  • title-link=The Road to Reality}}</ref>
FORMALISM OF MECHANICS BASED ON THE LEAST ACTION PRINCIPLE
Theoretical Mechanics
In theoretical physics and mathematical physics, analytical mechanics, or theoretical mechanics is a collection of closely related alternative formulations of classical mechanics. It was developed by many scientists and mathematicians during the 18th century and onward, after Newtonian mechanics.
Applied mechanics
PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF MECHANICS
Engineering mechanics; Engineering Mechanics; Applied Mechanics; Theoretical and applied mechanics; Engineering mechanician
Applied mechanics is the branch of science concerned with the motion of any substance that can be experienced or perceived by humans without the help of instruments. In short, when mechanics concepts surpass being theoretical and are applied and executed, general mechanics becomes applied mechanics.
Solid mechanics
  • [[Galileo Galilei]] published the book "[[Two New Sciences]]" in which he examined the failure of simple structures
  • [[Leonhard Euler]] developed the theory of [[buckling]] of columns
  • [[Isaac Newton]] published "[[Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica]]" which contains the [[Newton's laws of motion]]
BRANCH OF SCIENCE THAT STUDIES THE BEHAVIOR OF SOLID MATERIALS
Theory of elasticity; Solids Mechanics; Solid Mechanics; Mechanics of solids; Elastic theory
Solid mechanics, also known as mechanics of solids, is the branch of continuum mechanics that studies the behavior of solid materials, especially their motion and deformation under the action of forces, temperature changes, phase changes, and other external or internal agents.

Aircraft flight mechanics

Aircraft flight mechanics are relevant to fixed wing (gliders, aeroplanes) and rotary wing (helicopters) aircraft. An aeroplane (airplane in US usage), is defined in ICAO Document 9110 as, "a power-driven heavier than air aircraft, deriving its lift chiefly from aerodynamic reactions on surface which remain fixed under given conditions of flight".

Note that this definition excludes both dirigibles (because they derive lift from buoyancy rather than from airflow over surfaces), and ballistic rockets (because their lifting force is typically derived directly and entirely from near-vertical thrust). Technically, both of these could be said to experience "flight mechanics" in the more general sense of physical forces acting on a body moving through air; but they operate very differently, and are normally outside the scope of this term.
